Malaysia Passport

One hour of time to make/renew Passport.  This is what they have set as target.   It took me hours and in fact the whole afternoon.  There's one lady behind me that asked the officer if the Kiosk is ok to renewing passport.  The answer was positive.

12:00noon - went there, counter not available yet.

2.00pm - start queuing for the number.

3.10pm - finally got the number.

3.50pm - made payment

4.50pm - obtain the passport. the lady in the counter's face was really dark and think she might be too busy until she lose her temper.

I have some suggestions: -

1. They should really print on the form of what they need us to bring there, a simple checklist will save a lot of time.

2. Why do they need 2 different queuing number? One is to submit the application another one to get the passport?

3. The Kiosk is not working that day. There's a lot of people queuing for the Kiosk for at least 30min, until a NOT AVAILABLE sign was put up.

Always have bad impression with our Immigration Department.  It's been years since i last came here due to work matter.  Always involve hours of waiting to get simple things done.
