Antidepressant, talk therapy fail to beat placebo

I didn't know that there's even a name for the fake medicine. I have known an old man whose eyesight begin to blurred. He's gradually turn into blind man. Doctor prescribed him vitamins and he thought that it will help him to avoid from being blind.

Depression could lead to serious consequences. The worst case is to let negative thoughts haunt and having a feeling that only death will cure everything. While struggling to live happier and to forget the invisible pain, doctor is the answer for them. Non-professional doctors will continue prescribing medication that will lead other bad effects.

Simple solution to all problems is just a good sleep. But for a depressed patient this is somehow impossible. A gentle and effective way to get a rest is by taking medication for allergies, flu/cough syrup. It has to be under doctors' prescription for fear of overdose. Always aware that taking medication without observing the right dosage, is always risky. No one will love you more than you should love yourself.
