I use these in my yard and have for at least five years. It is a simple mechanical water timer that is a case of analog simplicity. Set it and it simply runs for the time dialed in. It also has a constant-on setting. While not programmable like a digital timer, it allows you to control your watering in a relatively effective manner. The timer uses standard quick connector to hose. The only caveat is that if you live in a climate where freezing occurs you must bring them inside or they will be break if they have water still inside. Well constructed, reasonably priced. An exemplary cool tool.
