Before you consider signing the next new job acceptance letter...

This is my fifth job. I think I am fit to give some advice to those who are considering for a new post in a new company. Before considering that job switch, have you consider the following risks?

1. Company is about to close-shop. This is the worst case scenario.
2. Company is about to retrench. You may not get your confirmation. They can terminate you almost immediately giving no obligation to pay any considerate compensation.
3. Company is enforcing force leave. You will never get the figure promised in the job appointment. They are deducting your pay..
4. You may work very late, more responsibilities than your previous job. Are u willing to take it?
5. Office politics.. no helpful hands.. You've got to find your way to survive.
6. If you aim for a pay raise or promotions.. it's going to take you years to show the others your capability.. Most "dinosaurs" in the company are dominating the higher post.. Unless you really shines from th rest..
7. Basically, to start all over, with all the potential unexpected risks, in a brand new working environment.

Prepare for the worst case scenario.
